Do not EVER drive it without a belt, you will ruin your engine. _________________ OGJHC

I'm starting to get little wafts of bus stink coming from the north. Something about the unique scent of drivers seat padding when it's glued together with mouse piss and shit that really gets me going... and I'm smelling it! Oh yeah! Time to start loading up the equipment. |

I had front gravel guards on my super when I actually lived on gravel. Mine had 1 hole in the smaller part that goes in front of the running board. But it doesn't take much to hold them on anyways. Just crimp the tabs around the fender really well. And if yours came with rubber seals, don't use them. You'll just get pissed off when they go flying at the car wash. |

Damn...where did you find that treasure?? Free!?! |
Seems like once people find you have one VW, they think you want more??? They're right!
It needs the battery pan area replaced, and some parts are missing from the engine (pulley, coil, minor stuff), but the interior is all there, and it has ghia discs in the front! It'll be a decent driver, while the '60 is in "surgery". |

If you are going to pull the engine out you may want to consider replacing the main seal once you are at it. Man I love to spend other people's money. |
