since the topic of the week seems to be AFMs, what is the consensus on cleaning the track? electronic contact cleaner? fine grit sand paper? alcohol? a blast of low pressure air?

| I think the preferred method is to use a bit of electrical contact cleaner (after testing it somewhere to make sure it will not disolve plastic) and then resealing the AFM wil a dusting of RTV sealant to keep dirt/moisture out. |
