i have just bought some new polk audio speakers and a pioneer head for my 73 bay window and i wanted to know some of the places you can put them. i already decided to put the 5" ones in the front door panels, but i do have some 6x9's and i thought about putting them under the seats in boxes but i bet there are plenty of other better places to put them at. Also any other speaker installation tid-bits would be helpfull.

I built a tray behind the back seats and put two speakers in there. Gives some privacy to store stuff under it, too.

I have a couple of 6x9s uder the z-bed bech in my westy. If you hustle, there was a fairly good discussion about this in the old late bus forum not long ago, about which spots were good, and which spots are not so good. Jeremy

I didn't want to cut into the bench or anywhere else so I put 6x9's in boxes. They sit mostly on the bench, on the floor or in the bench for security.

I have a 7 pass. Deluxe. I have 2 6.5s in the doors, 2 6X9s in boxes under the middle seat and 2 10 in subs in a hatchback box in the cargo area. Somtime soon I'll relocate the subs under the rear seat, may need to do some clearencing on the firewall.
