Agree, this is a nice, clean swap. Interesting fan and louver work. Wonder what the reason is for that. Maybe the compartment isn't sealed and would overheat? Reminds me of the Fiat 850 swaps common back in the 80's.

This customized white Beetle Karmann Cabrio fits well into this thread. A screen shot from the German TV program "Der Mann der keine Autos mochte" S3E6 (1984). Translated "The man who did not like any cars". The M in the license plate designates the city of Munich. The well dressed woman was its owner; quite the clash of "style".
