The only thing I can say about that image is hearing him yelling out "BANZAI".
(Cause it looks like an air-cooled A bomb, FWIW )
EDIT: Maybe someone can Photoshop that being dropped on an American City back in WWII. Those crazy Germans were working with the Japanese way back then. _________________ "Okay, so there's 6 beers and 5 of us. You know what this means don't you? 4 of you are going to have to leave."

Are all of those from Bosnia? If so, all those years of war and unrest really messed up car people's brains. [/b] |

How about this one. Looks to be the same as the one above marked "Santa's Sleigh".

Oh boy, this one just popped up on craigslist this morning!

CUSTOM ONE OF A KIND 1963 VW BUGUS – Half Bug / Half Bus
Have you ever wanted something nobody else has in the world? Well here is your chance. This has got to be one of the most attention getting VW’s in the world. Not another one like it anywhere. Very unique and well made 1963 VW Bugus. This is a wonderfully made car that has the best of everything. NO cost spared during the build. This is your chance to own something special. This car may never be for sale again. Runs and drives perfect.
I will help accommodate shipping needs to the best of my ability. This is an awesome car that is a beauty to drive. You will not be disappointed. Good luck!
-1963 VW Bug front end with VW Bus back end
-Complete custom fabrication inside and out Subaru 16 valve engine with 4 speed manual VW transmission (only 32k on engine)
-Pan is in great shape
-No rust issues
-4 wheel disc brakes
-Shaved door handles with push button remote entry
-Single piece Cal electric windows
-Custom carpeted interior
-Tires and brakes are newer with limited use
-Lowered with suspension
-Top of the line carpet kit and headliner
-Top of the line Alpine sound system (2 – 8 inch speakers, 2 – 6x9 rear speakers, 2 – 6 in front speakers, 2 – above head tweeters, over 1000 watts of power from two Alpine amps in front truck) The stereo sounds clean and loud.
-Engine hatch with springs leafs to hold open
-Custom storage cabinets in back engine area
-Tinted windows
-Nice yellow paint job (8 out of 10 on the paint) It looks great from 5+ feet but there are some imperfections the closer you get but it still looks amazing.
-Everything works perfect
-Very fast and drives like a dream (goes 80 mph down the freeway with no problems)
-Very straight and sturdy
-Magnoflow Exhaust
-Personalized plates go with sale if in California
-One bad spot on the upper rail near the driver side door needs attention. Previous owner did a quick fix with some glue but should be done right eventually. (see pictures)
I have taken additional photos showing the complete car, flaws and all. Please see the link below to my photobucket site with 70+ pictures.
Please view additional photo album at: http://s835.photobucket.com/albums/zz274/rbassmaster/1963%20Buggus/ |
