Nothing worse than a carb that rejects the motor.
I've seen air-cooled conversions on all kinds of stuff and it hurts my brain every time. Why would you stuff a temperamental boat-anchor into anything other than what it at least belongs in? |

I think I'd be worried about the hardware laying on the ground behind it. Is it so powerful that it spits out nuts and washers? _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

could be painted yellow
all that time, $$$ and talent and they have an upright motor in the back..
that's the WTF bastard here.
the factory should have produced somthing like this with a type-III and Type-IV motor options.
man to go back in time and start a skunkwerks option to the line up.

The damn upright fan, every time! This thing would be as functional as it is cool looking if they went the extra couple steps to go with a type 3 or 4. _________________ 1973 Superbeetle: 1st car, owned since age 12. ^^^ I've always found it fascinating that in an effort to acquire bragging rights some people are willing to undergo a significant expenditure to put money in the pockets of a company that only seeks to make significant profit from those same individuals.

This 912 just sold at Mecum for 14k. Pretty cool off road Porsche. I'd definitely roll it.

It might so powerful you can feed it other cars and it just spits out some of the undigestables. Kind of like metallic corn kernels... |
