Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.

I posted this the other day (along with 1st start up vid) but it got deleted? Why? There was mention of a Brazilian home built flat 8 motor about 1000 pages ago but no post with this video. However awesome it may be, the car and motor are home made bastards. I just don't understand why it would get deleted when:
1. I have not seen it posted yet.
2. 90% of all new posts in this thread are reposts, re-reposts, re-re-repost, etc. anyway.
Maybe because I posted it as a URL?

Flat 8, but yeah. I'd love so see some more about this car. Would be cool to see a couple of balls out laps--I think that video is a first test drive. |

Really bad execution but I kind of like the concept. I bet it's really top heavy due to all of that bondo... _________________ Chris

1972 Volkswagen Beetle
$500
Scio, NY
Volkswagen Beetle with a moon roof . All the glass is good. Has a straight axle in the front and is set up for a small block Chevy motor. Took the motor out for another project.
Pics
Nice legroom though... if you are 7 feet tall _________________ How to Post Photos
