It was. Look at the windshield frame, side windows, and you can see the entrance bracing inside at the threshold.

I can appreciate that it looks like they took one of those 80s vert kits, by putting the roof back on over the vert look like doors and rear tub made it into a decent chop top creative and resourceful. Very Happy

Agreed, the ground clearance looks less than optimal for my particular driving style, but I like the build style and proportions.

I like it. I see the thermofans in the engine bay......but I can't see where the air flow goes too....

I suspect they have a plenum across the back drawing air in from the sides. The original VW woodie that I acquired has a configuration like the except that is still uses the type 4 rubber boot to connect the fan to the plenum.

That's the best bug truck I've ever seen! hooray for a Type 3 engine and usable bed! That'd look sweet with a vintage Vespa in the back, my P200E is even about the same color.
