Did that on bunny flat on Shasta snow trip many years ago. By morning the bottle was frozen. Time for a “gas eater” (Muir book).

I have spent a few nights camping in the snow, in tents, in snow caves, and yes, even a couple of igloos we built while backcountry skiing here in the Selkirik mountains.

When nature calls while nature is making it below zero outside, you pee in a bottle. Gatorade bottles are best because of their texture. You can feel them in the dark to know which one to pee in, as opposed to which to sip from.

Now, anyone want to know about pooping over a snow drift?

No.

(Get a rocket tube. Pack it out. No more dumping in crevasses, the ice is melting fast.)

And all buses are overpriced.

Even if it were listed at 10k less I'm not sure it would be worth it (I missed it if it has been discussed before):

https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=2294705

In comparison, this 15 in Alaska looks like a great deal (even though it's been listed here almost two years now):

If your heart is set on a 13w, I have a 13w that I’d consider trading for a single cab or a SWR Kombi or panel. Not looking to sell, just trade.

Could always just fold it up, like one of those pop up 3D children’s books. It folds anywhere along the lower six inches.

When we shipped a bus from Alaska, the shipping company required that the foot brake and hand brake worked.
Possibly some other company has different rules. The cost would have been less if the bus we shipped had been driving. More to ship with a company that would take a not braking bus. I think it costs us a little over a grand to ship to Tacoma.

Everything out of Alaska ships into Tacoma,WA or into Seattle, WA. We picked our bus up at the Port of Tacoma, being local.
We also a couple years before had picked up a panel out of Alaska, for a friend in the lower 48. It didn't stop IIRC, and I don't know what their shipping price was.
If you don't pick it up there, then you get it shipped to you from there.

I am not seeing a great deal. Actually, the bus is kinda crusty. Worse than my 61, which people love to tell me has rust.
I don't see a great deal if it was local to me.
FWIW, it's a 63 model year bus with 1/3 2/3 front seats, 63 style bulkhead, flared rear wheel arches, etc. buildt in 62.
Ad says 'rolls easily'. Does that mean they fixed the tires so they all hold air? But it's a 15! Corner windows are awesome!

Rare mango deluxe worth $60,000 or $70,000. A bargain at $28,000.😂

He's probably basing that crazy price off of the one Brenden hasup for sale.
This ones been up for nearly a year and for less than half what he's asking. And no takers.

Is a middle seat worth $17k?

The only thing "deluxe" about that one is the price

I'm pretty sure he comes up with all his prices from Barret Jackson. I looked at all his adds and he also has a 60's rag top beetle barn find for $20k. Funny thing is I stumped across him on Facebook selling a set of Bice bumpers for $400. He got a bunch of messages including a couple offers for twice the price and now there listed here for $2500.
