My favorite part of the ad is that you have 20 lines of information on the vehicle and 6 lines are devoted to the sound system. You want $90k for a 50-60 year old vehicle and 25%+ of the ad is on the F-ing radio.... Seriously, are you mentally deficient??? How about telling me a little more on why/how the hideous "wrap" was done. No pics or info on the engine, rust/body, or year. And in what world is a late 11 window worth $90k??? "Serious inquiry only". How about "serious ads only". Member since 3 weeks ago...F-off.

From the ad:
Beautifully preserved, smooth and clean VW T2 transporter. Original color was red but wrapped in teal for marketing purpose. Brand new engine (only 62k miles). Imported from California to Vancouver, Canada. Garage kept. All paper and receipts available upon request. Serious inquiry only.
List of work done between 2019 and 2020:
Replace front suspension King Pin
Replace Centre Pin
Leak-loose
Oil leak repair of outer rear axle seal
Tune up
Replace rear suspension bumpers
Rear brake service
New Rear brake drums
Clutch adjustement and curve on clutch sleeve
Kenwood Mechless Receiver with Front USB/Aux & 1 G P
Bluetooth
KMMBT325U
MISC Kenwood 3.5" & 6X9" Speakers
PXW1000BC Kenwood Excelon 10" Shallow Truck Enclosure
X5011 Kenwood Excelon X Series 500W Mono Amp 1 G
Driver side front door catch requires adjustment
Rebuilt the driver side door catch and adjusted door latch
Engine lid catch springs require adjustment
Removed and modified horn connections to work
I'm not sure how to feel about a "brand new" engine that has only 62,000 miles on it?And things that are quicker to actually just fix, rather than typing out that they need adjustment (like the door catch).
I would also expect that at $90,000 the horn works and the clutch has been adjusted, so there's not much added value in those things. It would be like mentioning you changed a light bulb or aired up a tire. |

$150 for the dash light?
No, sometimes it's just too much. _________________ The Obsolete Air-Cooled Documentation Project http://oacdp.org/ |

yes it has! hahaha strong point there
Everett pointed me to an ad that had four of them for $5 each. I am keeping two for myself, one as a spare. Someone has reached out to me for one of them so I am passing it along for $5 and the fourth I may try and recoup my total investment on but certainly not anywhere near $150!!

I kinda like it, whatever it is. Not $50k like, but....I’d drive it. Just to see where it broke in half first!
Notice it is a conversation bus, not conversion. So you could get a 13w slider in ‘67 ? Or it was an 11 window converted to 13, then became a 21. |

Yes, I'm wondering what was converted.
You could definitely buy a slider Bus in 1967 but what did it start as?
I would want to know if the slider is original too _________________ How to Post Photos

The pattern on that floor looks more like an American truck bed. Brazilian maybe? _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

Was there a picture of the rear cargo floor? It's not there any longer.
This listing is very suspicious. I'd feel more safe spending $50k on a time-share in Camden, NJ. |

If that '21' is German, I'll eat my hat.
Really reminds me of that piece of shit slider panel that was for sale a few months back. _________________ Blah..... |

Try buying a DC.
I looked at both of those ads above and thought. Damn, good prices. I guess it's relative. |
