Ask the guy or girl. If he replies post up the size here and I or someone will post up the Split Westy size.

A bay stool is 14.5"x17.5"x18" high.

A Not-Bay-Cushion is 19 3/4" long X 13 13/16" wide X 4 1/2" average to top of poofy-ness which is flat mostly. All measurements are with mustard cover and measure is pressed tight for width as if it were in place.

You could cut a Bay one narrower and it would fit.

I have a few bay westy stools.
mustard stool: 14.5 x 18" wide by 17.75 high
orange plaid stool : 14.5 x 17 x 17 high
blue plaid stool, was hacked narrower by a PO: 13" (used to be more) x 16.75 x 17.5 tall

Funny, I didn't realise there were small variations.

Bed foam got thinner as the model years went on (weight saving?, cost cutting?, more headroom?, who knows?), that may explain the overall height differences. The cabinets changed slightly when the plaid started as well so that may explain the width, the early one I measured has folds in the yellow vinyl on the corners so that probably explains the extra 1/2".

So I had one of these yellow bay window seats years ago and the yellow Naugahyde snapped off and there was the cushion that came out and it had a toilet seat rim built into the wooden frame of the stool. Do you think this was a factory thing or is this something somebody build afterwards? Unfortunately it’s long gone now.

The factory ones had lithographed skid-marks.

Are those Split Bus?

No split bus cushion had legs so no split middle cushion was a stool. The split ones lay on wood ledges attached to the jump seat and reefer side in a walk-through. They were just held there by the honeymoon fit.

Not from Westfalia, sounds like a crafty PO's handywork.

Is this a 58' sub hatch? My whine is poor pictures and a lack of information....

I can see a tent mount...hatch doesn't look proper.

Can't tell if that little slat on the roof is a piece of wood or an actual subhatch.

That is a sub hatch. Lots of work. But not a terrible price. Whoever ultimately ends up with it after it passes through a couple of flippers had better have Grand Canyon pockets. They will need every spare shekel for that tired ole girl.

I see the stocve outlet in the roof too but it looks like there is nothing in the back from the side door view above - you can see straight through the rear-most side window to the back window

If I hadn't taken my medication this morning I would have bought that's Sub hatch. A PG/SG Westy is the coolest. Of course piecing it together is out of the question, but a custom kit based on orginal design would give you a very cool bus.

That came from one of the many '70/'71/'72 Westys my Father-in-law had...
It does look home made.

Just like that, but without the wooden box around the legs. The seat was hinged but I don’t remember how the bags attached

Seems it should have a sunroof and/or a swivel seat for $65K ... Great looking bus though!
