The ad says "condition unknown", but I think I know the condition, JUNK. It has been out in the weather long enough for bacteria to eat all of the gear oil residue on the outside of the transmission, so I am sure some rain made it down that nosecone and into the transmission. _________________ .

When did they stop installing horns in the passenger seat on earlier models? Haha. A little vibration for the wife’s motivation? _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

Any opinions on current values of cargo floor mats?
One was just posted for $450:

I haven't seen one for sale in a while (but also haven't been looking) and just curious if anyone bought one recently.
I thought they were more like $200-$250.
I don't need one either so if you need that one, go for it. |
Inflation I paid $200 for one 4 years ago and it wasn’t as nice. But I wanted OG. That one, at least from the pics, looks above average to me. |

I was just wondering if the O/G ones were the same size as the replacements that W.W. sells? _________________ Vw collection 60 combi ,61 panel ,62 deluxe micro,82 diesel Westfalia,88 Vanagon synchro,98 Jetta tdi,11 Jetta tdi mt ,11 Jetta tdi dsg.

Pretty sure they are. I bought a WW one and thought it might not be as heavy as an OG one, but when it arrived it felt just as heavy. |

I love a good camper conversion.... I love a good Westy even better. This Vanagon dry-hump collage camper has me feeling more nauseous than chemo

I've seen this one in person with the flat bed before the vanagon westy shell added. It was at a car show. It looked so bad I just walked passed and glanced at it. Definitely a purist nightmare. Makes you want to sob for the poor bus that gave its life up to become this contraption. |

Not just related to buses, but I always find it funny when people hose their vehicle down to make it look shiny. At first I thought, why go through all the trouble to paint the bus like that and not do the lower metal? Then I realized it probably isn't as freshly painted as it looks. |
