Damn, guess I should have copied pictures.
It was a 67 11 window walk-thru with pretty much everything that was 6 inches above rockers rusted AWAY around the whole bus.
edit: oh and NO title |

I did look at the pics earlier today after you posted the link. It has both front seats left inside and the passenger side walk thru seats are hard to find. If the bottoms of the two front seats were not completely rusted away the pair of front seats was worth $1,000. There were some other good parts left, but the bus was way too far gone to be a viable project to bring back. _________________ September 1964 Standard Sunroof walk through SWR/BG original paint. |

Why go through all of the effort to build that bus and use a non deluxe rear hatch? |

Even with the exchange rate of the American dollar to the Canadian dollar, this would be over $11,000. I don't get it, is there something I'm missing.... Maybe 4K to a dreamer.

Not too bad for a northeast bus, especially if the frame is solid. Those "very solid" doors have holes in the bottom though. No rear seats, no engine, no front glass, no lights, no rear bumper, mis-matched rims. Definitely not condition 3. Lots of parts to find/buy to make it complete. Maybe they're thinking the 6 pop-outs make it more valuable? |

The thin lip dogleg on the passenger side is a nice touch. |

buses like this don't bother me by default. I am not a buyer for this kind of 11 window conversion.
This bus has been discussed before i remember the 2 different doglegs.
for 121,000 bucks i would want correct doglegs, a clock, and a proper deluxe hatch. the shifter button i could change out myself...
The fact that it is a conversion does not bother me
I like mango buses and their interiors, that does not bother me either.
riding around with 2 different doglegs would embarrass the fuck out of me especially if everybody knew i spent 121,000 bucks to get it... _________________ regards

"During its lifetime the original vehicle M-code ID plate was lost so the original build specifications are unknown"
Wasn't it confirmed it was a conversion? If so, nice way to dance around the fact. _________________ 65 Notchback

Seems like if they have the chassis number it would be easy to get a birth certificate with the build specs. But, hey what do you want for $121,000. |

What a waste of mango green/seagull grey paint. Sick of these unscrupulous wankers cashing in on rising Vw prices and unsuspecting buyers. The net result will be alot of people ruing the day they bought a classic Vw. |
