Does not compute! . I'll have to search around and order a new gasket, the one I have all cracked and dried out. Which is what happens when a 46 year old movie car sits and rots in the desert sun for 15+ years. _________________ Yeah I like Herbie AND New Beetles. Got a problem with it? Tough.

Restoring that ring was well within normal turnaround time Bob for a custom restoration requiring many new parts, especially when it arrived here as just a ring with NO guts, and Kochs wouldn't do it and couldn't do the work. Can take several months to restore a ring depending on what it needs, you find unexpected problems along the way, and alot depends on what is going on in the shop at any given time. Guess I'll just have to just forgive your comment Bob for not really being knowledgeable about restoration work. Folks that do alot of their own detail work understand such things.

Yeah, but at Bob's age even the expiration date on a milk carton seems like a long time. |

Bob's just cranky from a lack of sun. Of course a sunroof car could cure that...... _________________ ITMC-El Presidente

Yeah, I'm likely a bit cranked myself, couldn't get to KP this year, and now the Classic looks doubtful, time to take one of the sunroofs out for a drive maybe today....

Puyallup huh? I went there once and about froze to death but it didn't even bother my friend Barry from Vancouver. An inside show with no heat. It was like being stuck in the frozen food section of the market all day. Did you find anything else interesting Mike? _________________ "What a fool believes he sees, no wise man has the power to reason away." Dobee, Dobee, Do |

Hey buddy,
An NOS 010 distributor for my Okrasa kit. The gas cap and gaskets, a couple original hubcaps with the og black painted centers for my car. Nothing to brag about really. A couple rainy days scared most of the swappers away I'm afraid. |

that does not look like a 100mm cap
notice the other pictures of the 100mm caps the emblem goes all the way out to the edge of the cap, it looks like a 80mm to me
still cool though _________________ Thornton |
