This popped up in a recommended video through YouTube. Pretty damn awesome. The irony of a black hardcore group doing a Skrewdriver tune from their later white power years is not lost on me.

HAHAHA that was pretty intense. I'm not really a fan of the musical style, and I don't know who Skredriver is, but that was fantastic.

That fuckin' guy is huge!

Skrewdriver is a shitty Nazi skinhead band.

Ron Harper is lead vocal guest on this album:

Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar,
You're gonna go far,
You're gonna fly high,
You're never gonna die,
You're gonna make it if you try,
They're gonna love you.
I've always had a deep respect and I mean that most sincere;
The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think,
Oh, by the way, which one's Pink?
And did we tell you the name of the game, boy?
We call it "Riding The Gravy Train".
We're just knocked out.
We heard about the sell out.
You're gonna get an album out,
You owe it to the people.
We're so…

If you didn't see the interview with Roger Waters on AXS TV w Dan Rather, you should watch it. Roger is an interesting person.

Saw Roger about 10 years ago as opening act for Eric Clapton. At that time he was still throwing mic 20 feet and catching. Funny how the old codgers still use cords and handheld mics as props.

Going back in time to the first album I ever bought. I was 14 years old in 1978 and heard of this guy named Bruce Springsteen. Bought Darkness on the Edge of Town the next day. To this day it's still my favorite album (although his Nebraska album comes close).

Lyrics Smile :
Now the king told the boogie men
"You have to let that raga drop"
The oil down the desert way
Has been shakin' to the top
The Sheik he drove his Cadillac
He went a-cruisin' down the ville
The Muezzin was a-standin'
On the radiator grille
The Shareef don't like it
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
The Shareef don't like it
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
By order of the prophet
We ban that boogie sound
Degenerate the faithful
With that crazy Casbah sound
But the Bedouin they brought out the electric camel drum
The local guitar picker got his guitar-pickin' thumb
As soon as the Shareef had cleared the square
They began to wail
The Shareef don't like it
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
The Shareef don't like it
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
Now, over at the temple
Oh, they really pack 'em in
The in-crowd say it's cool
To dig this chanting thing
But as the wind changed direction
And the temple band took five
The crowd caught a whiff
Of that crazy Casbah jive
The Shareef don't like it
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
The Shareef don't like it
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
The king called up his jet fighters
"He said you better earn your pay
Drop your bombs between the minarets
Down the Casbah way"
As soon as the Shareef was chauffeured outta there
The jet pilots tuned to the cockpit radio blare
As soon as the Shareef was outta their hair
The jet pilots wailed
The Shareef don't like it
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
The Shareef don't like it
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
The Shareef don't like it, he thinks it's not kosher
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
The Shareef don't like it, fundamentally can't take it
Rock the Casbah, Rock the Casbah
The Shareef don't like it, you know he really hates it
Rock the Casbah, rock the Casbah
The Shareef don't like it, really, really hates it
