25,000 for the bus and another 6,000 in cash, this does not include 1,700 into engine, after delivery.
you crashed my bus when YOU test drove it as i sat in the passenger seat. and i am supposed to send the front end of my bus so you can re-paint it?
it is not just the over riders that were damaged, where it attaches to the frame came up and hit the rail that runs along the lower part of the front sheet metal and caused damage there too.
and the compensation you offer me is for me to send the front of my bus to you.
thanks alot.
how about you pay to have it fixed at a good body shop jeff!?
the engine needed to be pulled with 118 miles on it, then i had to spend 2,100 to have it fixed.
and you put the wrong parts in the bus and they had to be replaced.
i did not get any warranty paperwork, because the warranties are to you, not me.
like the front of the bus you want me to send to you to fix, i am supposed to pay to drop the engine and send it to you to send to the guy who actually built it. to have it fixed.
the same guy who put the lifter springs in upside down, messed up the heads, etc. etc...
look jeff, you know and i know and dan zinda, of zinda and sons here in vancouver, wa. knows what had to be fixed.
thank you for finally admitting that you wrecked my bus when you drove it on the "test drive", it only took you 6 months to fess up to that.
you call my concerns whining and bitching, hmmm..
the late delivery is the least of my concerns.
if i knew how to post the pictures of what needed to be fixed i would.
i would say for those of you who have had a good experience with this shop .. good for you..
your experience is not necessarily my experience. _________________ 1967 deluxe 13 window

so my question still stands jeff..
how about you pay to have the damage you caused fixed at a good body shop?
it is a chance for you to show everyone what a stand up guy you are.
i'll be waiting for your answer, and when you do answer i'll let everyone know what that answer is. _________________ 1967 deluxe 13 window

have not heard from jeff at all...
but i a have posted some pictures, the titan red bus in the gallery is the picture i sent jeff many times to make sure he understood what i wanted my bus to look like. from the ground up.
the other pictures are from the tech who had to correct all the problems with the engine, and transmission. the pictures show what he found.
so how about reimbursing the other $1700 i spent to fix those problems.
&..
i still need the front end of my bus to be repaired after jeff wrecked it. how about it jeff are you going to be a stand up guy?
will keep you posted on those questions when i get an answer from jeff _________________ 1967 deluxe 13 window

I just received a set of Westy curtain rods that Jeff had advertised with some other pieces. I e-mailed him asking if those were the front slider rods and would he be willing to sell them seperatly? I was contacted promptly and the price was more then fair. The product arrived to me yesterday and the packing was excellent and the product was even better. I would have no problem dealing with him again and would recommend him to anyone. _________________ If you argue with an idiot for more than 5 minutes, who's the real idiot?

A few years ago Jeff came over to my place and bought my buses, loaded them up and took them away. I'm happy to say, he never brought them back, or complained about the fact that I kept one of the nose emblems to hang on the garage wall. The cash he paid me seems to have been 100% spendable. I do miss the flamingo that hitched a ride to South Dakota, but that one always was the gypsy of the bunch. We both made a deal and stood by it. What more could you want? |

Just drove down to south dakota, from Canada, to pick up some parts for my bug from Jeff. Parts were better then i thought at prices that i could not beat. Jeff is a stand up guy offered to find me more parts if i needed, and showed me around his place. Was great to meet you Jeff and you will probably hear from me again.

I was just looking at pics of the restoration Jeff did on my 70 convertible, and thought I needed to share what great work he does. He took my rusting hulk and made it into what you see below. Click on my Gallery to see more pics of the work. He kept me updated as work progressed, and was able to meet the deadline I had of driving it to my wedding. The work has been complete for 3 years now, and I am still amazed everytime I pull off the car cover. If you are considering working with Jeff on a project, by all means do. He's an artist, and an asset to the VW community!

Bought a spark plug wire tube for my 36HP. I was on vacation when I sent the paypal, Jeff delayed the shipment so I would be home when I received it. Great part, great communication. I wont hesitate to buy from him again. _________________ Cheap, Fast, Reliable; pick two! |

glad all of you are soooooo satisfied with what you got from jeff.
however it does not change the fact that jeff gagnon screwed me.
let me guess at some point in your transaction jeff says to write something special about how he made you feel....
i'm only guessing now, but it seems that the positive feedback increased after my bad review... perhaps some of you have being a vendor on the samba in common... hmmmm.
jeff gagnon wrecked my bus on a speed bump when he delivered it to me and said that it is MY problem..... quality guy , i don't think so.
over $2000.00 to fix his lousy work, NOT including the damage to the front of my bus.
thanks for a really BAD experience gagnon.... you suck. _________________ 1967 deluxe 13 window

Jeff didn't ask me to write a single vowel. I did it all on my own accord. He had a part that I needed, he sent it when I requested and deal was done. I am going to look at the overall feedback of a seller more than I look at one winy bitch.
Jeff I will continue to buy from you if I need more 36HP parts. _________________ Cheap, Fast, Reliable; pick two! |
