I bought a seat pedestal from Jeff for my '61 double cab. The thing is a work of art. You cannot tell the difference from a original and the repro. Highly recommended. |

Just got my much needed Sigla glass from Jeff. Great communication and quick shipment. The two pieces of glass were packaged so well that I don't think if they were thrown to the ground either of them would have broke. Thanks again Jeff. _________________ 58 Coral Red ragtop(Diana's car)

GREAT SELLER I ordered some cv's and axles. He could not find the ones that were pictured. So he sent me a set that were in 10 better shape. The price was also excellent after you subtract the shipping price that he payed. Thanks Jeff for a super deal. |

Posted: Wed May 12, 2010 10:43 am Post subject: Very good Bus Guy |
|
|
We purchased a 67' deluxe bus from Jeff March 10' and we can not be more satified with the bus (named Louie) and Jeff's work.
We have never owned a bus before and we did alot of research before we found Jeff's listing for a Deluxe 67' to be restored by himself with any modifications that we desired.
We started the process in Nov 09' and finished up, four months later with Jeff delivering the bus to our home in Louisiana. We were quite nervous about the whole process been done basically through emails, but Jeff was very patient and responsive to all our questions, practically on a daily basis. He guided us through the whole process and helped us emensly with our bus education. He took many pictures of the entire process and progress and relayed them to us through over 100 emails.
He suggested quality vendors for our additions and modifications and also suggested the better pricing of such items. (front disc brakes, safari windows, reverse lights, gauges) He made every effort to get us a quality product and a good price (the best bus for our money). He even suggest ways of saving money, even thought it was taking money out of his own pocket.
He installed the best parts that he had available to complete the bus and installed new ones where it was needed and didn't charge us. Even when he could of for some of the items.
We have been driving Louie as much as possible (Louie doesn't go out in the rain) and can only say that Jeff does tremedous work. We have gotten many complements and Louie drives like a dream.
All the lights are bright, all the switches, levers, knobs work as they should.
There is not a dot of rust on this vehicle. All the rust was either cut out or sanded out, neutralized, primed / painted inside and out, top and bottom. The front axle and rear drive were totally rebuilt and repainted. All the metal and seams are straight and true as a new vehicle. Louie also drives as if he is brand new, which is amazing for a 43 year old vehicle. The shifting, braking, steering, starting, stopping are all perfect.
As i said, we were neveous at first, but this bus is the best luxury item we have ever purchased and we have Jeff to thank for that. He is an honest guy and bussinessman and will not steer you wrong.
I was fully aware of Blackburn's issues with a previous bus before we committed to Jeff and the subject was never mentioned in any of our conversations . But if you also research Blackburn you will see that he is a bit of a hothead and complainer in my opinion in his other postings.
And also my opinion, his comments should be taken with a grain of salt.
If anyone wishes to see pics of Louie (Jeff's work), please feel free to email me. We have a whole scape book.

thanks for a really BAD experience gagnon.... you suck. |
your bus sits too high and you should slam it. get it low enough and it will tabogan over speed bumps. _________________ Admin note: Bill Passed away - July, 2017

I just bought a front bus bumper from Jeff and it was better than expected condition. Wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again. Good communication-he wouldn't send out the bumper until he made sure he had my address correct as I had made a mistake in the Pay Pal note I wrote. Thank again Jeff _________________ Roger Larsen |
