confused

I am beffuddled as to what van engines are front and back. I thought all eurovans and transporters were front engine but have seen air vents on the the backs of some that would indicate rear engine.

I am buying a 93 euro and putting a diesel engine in it. Found 1 from a 95 transporter but if 1 is front and the other rear I maybe need to rethink.

Might want to go here and read up on the differences. http://www.gowesty.com/thelibrary.html there is some information on installing a diesel engine also.

Thank you the links were helpful, but I still need to know How close is the motor and transmission from a 93 eurovan to a diesel engine and 5 speed transmission from a 1995 Canadian Transporter? Is that diesel computerized?
