Yesterday I posted some scans of an old 1973 JC Whitney catalog in the gallery. Some of the accessories and stuff they sold back then ranged from cool to ludicrous. And the period prices are pretty cool to look back on. I thought I'd make a post that I put them up there. The most interesting stuff I think, was what was in the "too new to index" section at the front of the book, with the introduction of a Baja kit, 87mm pistons/cylinders, oil filter oil pump, and a funky exhaust system that ran to the front then under along the running boards.

Call me crazy but I swear I just saw that sidepipe exhaust kit in a new issue. And let's not forget the padded dash kit. I've got a NOS set of those from Cal Custom.
