Well after trying many different internet searches for a replacement for my Behr dash mounted AC H block expansion valve and coming up empty, I finally broke down and went to a local supplier of AC parts. He couldn't find it either so he suggested I go to a place nearby (Irving, TX) and visit with the guys at Suntech Automotive AC components (part of a larger company called Omega Environmental technologies). They were able to identify it in seconds flat. For those that don't know, the Behr H block expansion valve is strange. It attaches to two lines from the evaporator box with two steel tubes with#8 male connectors, then two hoses come out the bottom. On is a #10 male connector (low pressure side) and the other is a #6 male connector (high pressure side). It is totally unlike other Vanagon H blocks. Anyway, if anyone is interested the part number is 31-30901-AM. Apparently this is a rather common expansion valve used in many cars and trucks over the years. _________________ Currently:
