|
|
Just got the official word, we've got the Red Barn reserved again for this year! So Bring Your Own Bus 6 is on for Saturday April 8, 2006!
For those who have been before, we're really not anticipating any changes for this year. For those who haven't been before, check it out:
Friday night Camping - $10
Gates open Saturday around 7am
Show Entry is free!
Swap spots are $10
Huge Swap! Huge Raffle!
All monies for camping and swap go to the Red Barn...we don't get any of it.
Directions? Coming from the North, take Hwy 101 South until you're about 15 miles north of Salinas, on the left you'll come upon a big red barn. That's it. Just be really careful turning left across the flow of traffic! We've yet to have an accident and I want to keep it that way!
Coming from the South, take Hwy 101 Nouth until you're about 15 miles north of Salinas, on the right you'll come upon a big red barn. That's it. Just swing right off the freeway to the right and you're set!

I'm there. This is literally 5 minutes from my cousin's house, I drive by it all the time. _________________ My, you've been naughty. How.....Delicious.

Tell her there aint nothing wrong with that lastname on the nose. I however am not so lucky, lol.
I am not sure about any distance trips this spring. Got a little do-it-yourself home improvement project on the slate. But I can dream.

Hey everyone - trying hard to Not be a lurker (gotta get my head outta the engine compartment).
Was wondering if this event was for *any* year bus? I know Susan had mentioned this to me a while back - and said it was loads of fun!! (ok, maybe i didnt quote her )
Also - is this dog-friendly?
thanks~

Nice, Grant!
Really, BYOB tends to favor the splits, but there's no way we're going to turn away a bus. Vanagons on the other hand...

well I dont have a vanagon....but am looking forward to heading south for a weekend.
Anyways - still no answer on the dog-friendliness of the event? My dog (bindah) goes with me pretty much anytime I travel....

Honestly, I am trying to remember the dog-friendliness of the event. Crofty...do you remember from years past?
I want to say (but don't quote me) that dogs are okay if they're leashed, but let me see if I can't find the info somewhere. _________________ 9th Owner of a 1971 Tintop Westy

I really don't remember seeing any dogs at past events, or they were leashed or kept in there buses. _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

Yeah, I know! I ought to look back through past pictures (Samba Image Search to the Rescue!) and see if there are any dogs. _________________ 9th Owner of a 1971 Tintop Westy

yes there were dogs roaming around at the last 3 red barn campouts so 1 more should not be a problem. |
