When will the sound deadening or under the mat sets be available again

As you all know, I need a minimum order of 15 sets for the water jet shop to do a batch.

I have received various requests so far.

Everyone that have not placed an order jet for the sound deadening mats, please post your desire to see where we are.

Thank you!

Luis

Looking for some as well.

Just a thought - for those with the means to do so you might consider buying an extra set of the floor mats while Luis is in production. It'll accomplish two things - giving you an extra set to keep in mint condition, and help Luis with some additional product sales and revenue.

Hey Luis, can you do a two piece set with just the two front mats? Those would bet the only areas of wear for me.

I made the mold for the RHD bulkhead mat, but nobody had order one Sad
I have one piece ready to go!

Regarding the floor mats, I hadn't get an original set to consider making the molds.

The tunnel mat and sill mats, I believe are the same as LHD sets.

Sound Deadening Undermats

We are getting close to being able to make another batch of Sound Deadening Undermats!

There are 9 backorders, so we need 6 more orders. As soon as I get them, I'll buy the materials and dropship them to the waterjet shop.

The following people expressed an interest:

cln60ragfk
Trylon
sancho58
ponytailmike
johan

We need 1 more !!!!

Thanks Luis, I must congratulate you on the product, I just wish I could order the RHD drive mats. Could you make a RHD set by reversing the front LHD mats? If not, any idea when you may be in the position to make a set of low light RHD mats. I would order two sets front and rear.
Thank you again Luis.

I’d order a set , but ‘60’s RHD. If they existed.
The driver side mat isn’t a mirror image because the accelerator pedal is bonded to the floor and needs a cutout in the mat. Not a simple thing.

Lowlight baulkhead retaining strip. Two of these...one each side next to the door windlace. They are "U" shaped, screwed to the sidewall and the baulkhead rubber mat slips into the clip and is crimped into place.

Yep...I posted that picture in June 2014 in this very thread. Smile https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7162993#7162993

My car still had them attached with the remnants of the original rubber bulkhead mat.

Now you’d think I’d know how to conduct research! I did look at the parts list but was having problems slogging through 700+ pages. Sorry to make you repeat yourself...

Thanks!

LUIS...any news regarding the remaining backorders?

Have they already been shipped?

Thanks for all the effort you put into that! I think there are a lot more lucky ghia owners out there since you started production. Wink
