holy shit forgot about this
well its been back, and its running.
no clutch but the good trans was sold for petty cash for other projecets with the motor i built, its got the old 1600 out of my baja and the same mystery trans that it came with. (only has 1st ans 2nd)
but we drug it down to my schools car show and had every one sign it and what not. believe it or not we got almost all the attention, good and bad. drove the buy behind us withhis perfect resto car that no one cared about a car that looked exactly like every other one. he casted a few insults and went off grumbleing.

Dude, I work as a paramedic, I look at those two A pillars sticking up in the air and just see the words :"multiple deep lacerations with facial fractures and possible loss of eye" written on somebody's field report.

| reading this thread I see that mant are close minded. Im glad I hang ou at onother site for the majority of my internet time. You guys are fags. This guy took junk and made something out of it. Foose does the same and I dont hear you busing on him. Get off the purist train. Purist is for restorable cars. I see people chop tops on 31 model a fords and no one says why did you do that. Oh yeah, cause its main stream cause its been done since the end of ww2. 50 years it took to get some respect. We are a new movement, just like they were. It take more balls to chop the roof of a 75 year old car than a 35 year old car. Remember that boyz and catz. Stop worring about a junk car and worry about the og american iron out there are we american or german? nut up brothers.... A barndoor, or a heb, I understand but something from the junkpile hat is completely unrestorable? Realistacly? Comeone boyz. |

not exactly, he uses suitable "full bodied cars" and makes them into works of art not peices of crap. Not to say that this car is a complete waste of time, its different and RLAP thinks its cool. Thats all that matters. Most are just voicing their opinions, good or bad. Really its not a "safe car to drive(not structural integrety what so ever, pan was not chopped in half correctly among various other things). But we arent in the drivers seat, or passenger seat for that matter. So think before you hurt yourself trying to spell next time assclown.

| thats why I dont add my input/expert knowledge on this forum. Becaue there are tards quick to put you down on here. I have professionally built motors for a reputable engine company. Been paid to do chops on lots of different cars, and built plenty of mine. And Im a certified welder now. I give my input on other sights and dont get the crap that I get here. Don't let anone put you down folks for having a creative mind. If you all need an experts advise you can pm me and Ill be happy to help. Im doing a torsion raise for a fellow v-rodder next weekend for free just to help. Its not all about hate. Volkwagen crowds used to be about love for one another, peace, and a brother/sisterhood. This new generation just doesnt care anymore. Its sad. And me not spelling correctly doesn't mean Im an ass clown. It means Im out working on my car more than spanking it to porn on the internet and complaining in forums all day. Now I have to go chop the top on my 67 one year only car now. Last project was a shorty 58 single cab. So eat your heart out. That was saving the car because it was rotted all the way through the bed and rails. I dont have $10,000 to buy all the repair panels then get $8,000 when sold so live with it. Peace brothers and sisters. |
