Just wanted to let ya'll know that we would love to have you come to our next club meet on the 19th. We are going to cruise to Helen and go tubing then grab some lunch. We would love to have ya'll there.

2day was my 1st visit and I had a blast.Thanks for the rack Bryce..&..Thanks every 1 for the tips...Just seeing all the VWs was so inspiring.. I pushed my van out and set the rack on to see what it looked like...and I luv it..Igoy some new rubber feet for it on the way home...so I gonna take it apart a clean it up...

What exactly is polishing? Like with that wiper arm. It looked all shiny. It it just polishing it to bare metal? if so won't it just rust when water hits it, or is there something to prevent rust, like some sort of special coating, or process to prevent rusting? does it have to be painted after polishing? please explain.

Oh and who made those wheels? i have a set just like that, except they are steel, and 10-12 inches wide (haven't gotten the old rotted tires off yet Laughing

Whats up guys and gals. Im new to the vw scene, just bought a 70 bay a few months back. I went to the show in griffin last month, you may have seen me there.

Sonic in McDonough.
I-75 exit 216. Turn left off the exit (from the north or south) and drive about a mile or less. You'll see a Sonoco gas station and a stop light. Turn left at the light and Sonic is on your left just behind the gas station.

A bunch of us are going to Helen this weekend for some tubing and possibly some camping. If you want to join the caravan (at least 6 VWs) up to the mountains you're welcome to go. 2 or 3 of us will be heading north from McDonough in the morning on Saturday. You could meet us there or we can pick you up on our way to Bass Pro Shop where the cruise will start. The more the better!
