I just got my first vanagon, an 86 Westy. I need to change the coolant, I ordered a Bentley manual yet, but it's not going to get here by next weekend. I did a search on the forums but didn't find any step-by step instructions, although I gather Pentosin or VW coolant and distilled H20 is the way to go.

Are there any good writeups on how to do the coolant change on the web anywhere, or does anyone have a scan of the relevant pages from the manual that I could borrow?

Do I need to remove any grilles or anything to get to the radiator drain plug? Also, are there any o-rings or gaskets that should be replaced on any of the drain plugs?
