I'm rejuvinating an old thread here but.....I have a line on a "set" of these.
They are both stamped with the Hella logo. The part numbers are different on each of the two:
One is marked:
Z-Nr. 61420, Typ-Nr. 16 / 68 r, D. B. G. M 1
and the other is marked:
Z-Nr. 61429, Typ-Nr. 16 / 69
Can anyone tell me if these are a matched Left and Right pair and what years they fit??
Thanks |

According to one of my catalogs, the 16/68 is for VW's 1953 onwards, and the 16/69 is for VW's upto 1952. _________________ ( ⫏ ⫐ )

thanks for the info. I actually owm a 68 so they wouldn't fit my car, but I know they are pretty desirable items for the earlier cars so I'm thinking of buying them for resale. What would be a fair price to pay for these? They are in pretty nice shape. What do they generally speaking go for? I noticed an old rusty set here on the samba for $1000.00. That seams like an awful lot of money. Are they really that rare and worth that much? |

I finally found a set of Hella bumper guard fogs.
Taking them apart and having them plated.
Gonna be way nicer than these that the previous owner installed. 😏
