I have a 67 Ghia Conv that I plan on putting Porsche Deep 6's in the rear. My question is: What do I have to do to make it fit and still look right ?

did you bolt them up to see if they will fit? If they dont switch to early axles pre-66. still might be tight if your planning on runnning anything above 195/60r15 may be able to get a 205/60/15

Haven't bought rims yet, but will soon. Just wanted to get an idea what to expect when the time comes to install. Thanks!

i ve seen deep sixes on many ghias, personally put late sixes on a 69 ghias with 195/60r15. I actually think the offset is exactly the same. i have both styles early and late. i can take a look or this can be found on the internet

I will use 6" on an IRS-equipped '61. I have trial mounted with 185/65-15, and it looks like it will just fit. There is no engine in at that point.

There are some pictures halfway down on page 4 on this project post:

Sorry for the Norwagian language, but the pictures will be understandable...

Grelland,
Do you pull the car float (trailer) with a car on it behind your vanagon?

Yes, well, not my vanagon, but a friend of mine's. I also use my Touran for this. Hopefully, when the 4 feet of snow is gone, I will soon be driving the Ghia under its own power.
