Time allowed to edit posts

Is there any way you could allow us to edit posts after it's been posted for more than 1500 minutes? It's a pain in the butt when I go to add more info to a post in the Transmissions for Dummies thread and it won't let me because it has been posted too long. I know HBB could go and add the text to an old post for me, but it's annoying to have to do that evey time I want to add more info.

Everett changed that a while back because it was being abused by people.

Yes, this is the only problem with having this limit.

I could make it a bit longer but that won't really solve your problem if you have a thread you want to keep updating.

What is the limit set at now Ev? I have noticed it showing I edited threads after not more than a couple of minutes???? Shocked

It is still 1500 minutes.

It will still say if you edited a post - that is different.

I just don't remember it doing that so quick if you went back to correct typo's or add a bit more info or go find a link to paste back in. Confused

If you edit before someone else posts, it won't say you edited it.
