Not much info on this. I've got the extra room under the bed and so I'm not going to need to slant install etc.
Any sinka/doka specific kits or information out there?
cheers

There are no 'kits' per se available to purchase that would give you everything needed. There is one company that has offered a small trickle of so-called complete kits, but with past and current expereince with this particular company I would have a difficult time recommending their kit.
That leaves you with building your own from parts available, which in the long run is actually far less expensive if you find good deals on used parts and engines. Mounting-wise, I offer an upright basic mounting kit on my site. This setup is superior to the adaptor plate type installation both in strength and appearance.
If you haven't already, please consider joining the 'TDI-Conversion' Yahoo group. Lots of good help there. |

I have a syncro doka with a 1Z from an audi 80. Didn't do it myself but its fairly straightforward. Love the power and the mileage
LOTS of info on the brickyard forum and parts can be bought from, brickwerks, bernd jaeger, busschmiede and more. Pick and choose _________________ 88 Westfalia Club Joker syncro AAZ i/c
