That looks like a bus there was a thread about recently. If it's the same one, it was found in a warehouse in Mississippi and brought to Cali for restoration I kinda doubt the guy sold it for 15k if it is the same one. |

The one from Mississippi that looked like a Brazilian but not Brazilian bus. Had a lot of late model shit on it.

Not original upholstery, tidy re-upholster.
The middle seat kick panel does not look og to me either.
The bus looks restored to me. New paint. New headliner. From what I can see.
They probably want to put a camper kit in, of course. |

Yes, this Bus has popped up a few times recently as a "new" craigslist scam.
A couple people have told me they saw the scammers using these photos too:
There has been a project Fridolin popping up recently too, using a photo that is in a Fridolin thead on this site.

| The ad looks typical of the Allen Alfiler ones that pop up all the time. There's a few threads on here regarding him, and website a victim started up to try and get LE to do something. |

I noticed about 8 to 10 years ago enthusiast spending time, money, and energy finding parts to make a bus complete before putting up forsale.
Then many buses going across the pond for what I thought were decent prices then seeing seats from sold busses up forsale.
I spent a pocket full of money on front and rear seat frames (still looking for middle seat), matt miller covers for all three rows of seats.
I now have a rock & roll bed in the back with curtains because most of our VW outings involve camping.

dunno if this is the right place to show this. It is a genuine German Liqui Tilter for sale in Peoria, IL.
Brand new with all the parts. I talked to the guy and he is firm on his price (so far). But this machine is BRAND NEW.

Thing is, I just bought one of these for somewhat less, but mine is missing the adapter brackets.
I'm gonna mostly use it to work on my 56 single cab. Seems like the perfect device to clean up the bottom, put on new brake lines, without taking out the beam and transaxle. I'm just gonna make brackets for my single cab from 2 wheel centers or rims.
I can vouch for the fact that this machie is very well built. Pretty sure is is TUV listed. If you know what that means.

I got a barndoor era hubcap for $10 out of the classifieds here on thesamba. The hubcap has some issues, but early hubcaps are damn hard to find in any condition. It was obvious to me that it was an early cap, and the ad had been up for a long time.
