Good one to start a restore on. |
I agree- a great starting point.
Sadly it takes some time and money to collect the interior. I think the price was changed to best offer after reality check- not the result of a bid war. _________________

Is $25K a good deal for a camper with NOT A SINGLE PIECE OF CAMPING INTERIOR? I know it's dry and all, but it seems steep for what it is. _________________ nothing |

I guess the way I see it is $25k is a good deal because you dont have to spend a penny on paint or rust repair. You can outfit it with a custom camper interior and have an awesome bus for under 30k which seems pretty fair. |

But it's a parts storage bus. Full of Bay stuff and what's a collapsed dormobile top worth? It's worth more in pieces and the shell gutted of all that's wrong. _________________

In today's world of pricing and people throwing money who really knows? If you add up all the things that it doesn't need done to it then those are probably where the justification would come in to live with your decision after making the deal. What is hiding behind the white paint? It should have a point bumper. It should have a pull engine lid. |

I was in Eugene a couple months ago hoping to look at it and the ad was no longer up. I was seriously considering it but without the camper kit? What? For how much? Nope. _________________ Bus Builder |

Agree, the first Bus (Kombi) is a '63.
Rear wheel wells are lipped plus narrow rear hatch narrows it down to 1963.
2nd Bus, which looks like a Turquoise Green 15-Window Deluxe, is 62-63, hard to tell between those 2 years from that pic alone. _________________ How to Post Photos
