1966 Factory VW Westfalia Price: 30000 firm
1966 Westy . I purchased in 2015. Bus was in arazona its whole life until I bought. It's been garaged since and never out in bad weather. Always inside during winter months. It runs , steers , and stops like the day it left the showroom. Newer (1977) vw bug as21 dual port engine.

I'm going to assume this will fit my 67 Westy properly. I have a single stage in my April 67 which I'm not 100% sure came with the bus when built but I believe it is German and works fine. I'm thinking of buying this also however I'm always concerned about aftermarket parts. Especially at a reasonable price. Can I assume this is from countries that are not concerned with quality? c21darrel, what does it say on the package?

I found a "67 only" dual master cylinder # 211611011Q on Rockauto, com. $48.79. Thought it a good price and wanted to give the heads up for anyone in the market for a M/C. IAP is the wholeseller.
Looks like a decent quality part, at a good price. Disclaimer, it went up to 51.79 when i checked today.

But does the stock reservoir fit it?
Some of the aftermarket master cylinders state that you need a specific aftermarket reservoir.
And I see no reservoir listed for it on RokAuto. _________________ Where's Garry |

Someone got a killer deal on a Westy Big Tent. Anyone want to confess to swooping it up ?

I was number 23 to view. Emailed the seller right away that I would take it. An hour and 20 minutes later the seller messaged me that someone local picked it up. _________________

I bought a vent wing window frame from Tom a year or so ago. It was a fair deal and he's a good fellow in my opinion. _________________ Never argue with an Idiot. They'll only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. |

I've brought those frames to a couple shows to sell them, they just didn't seem to sell, at $75 it should sell, but shipping will not be cheap. _________________ Tom

This will be controversial, but it would be difficult to find a project Westy and get it to this level for less money. Not to mention time and effort.
