weird..I saw it like last week for 4k..and thought it was was worth it all day..
and also at that time there was no sk654a details..and with the mango on the B pillar and front cargo door I thought it was a respray..but yea a sk654a bus is pretty dam cool, |

My old double door sunroof was one and I only knew of one other at the time. I think I heard of a third at one point. This would make four. I haven't really kept up but they're definitely not common. Here's a pic I uploaded in 2002...

I told the seller that I had only seen four, but there are certainly more existing. He interpreted that as only four known to exist. That said, who knows of more of them? There is a nice one back east, the doubledoor sunroof, one that came out of spokane and went to europe, and this one. I'd love to hear of others, because I am sure that more exist.

I am the seller. Yes Lind did let me know this would be the 4th he knows to be out there. I figured 4th known and 4th known to exist have the same meaning. Certainly are probably a few more out there but to date it seems this is only the 4th one that can be accounted for

Yeah that is my 67 westy ad in that OBR. 49K miles all original, I paid $4500 for that bus and after no luck finding a trade sold it for $9500 to friend named Dave Mkinney in Ohio. I think it re sold recently out west for close to 100k. Wish I still had that one amongst a few others...
Excuse the shit eating grin...dunno what that was about.

| I had a chance to look at the same ad. Was wondering if it was a scam in disguise. Didn't stay up long. I bet somebody got it for 18K if it was real. I was also thinking the same will be up here after the new year for double the $$$. I just found it hard to believe the guy didn't know he had a westfalia subhatch. Seems like even the Volkswagen mechanic he took it to, would have turned on one of his friends to the deal. |

I don't believe it was up long enough to get flooded with calls. I believe in EverettB theory someone close by jumped on the offer. I also believe the buyer also had them drop the ad quickly ...

I posted all the pics, including the ones he deleted from the active ad.
I noticed some are duplicates so he probably messed up at first and removed some duplicates or wanted some different photos.
