Hazet made battery clamp removal tool. Used to pull the clamp from the terminal without putting side load on the terminal post which could break it loose from the plates or crack the top of the case.
Who has some nice vintage signage?

Man I worked at an old time VW dealer for almost 10 years and never once found aything that cool. Not that I didn't get some cool old VW related stuff.

Here is an old Eisemann porcelain sign from Germany. Eiseman made batteries, generators, spot lights, emergency equipment and a wide variety of electrical items. In their brochures from the early 60's they show a barndoor bus that is accessorized with their equipment and being unloaded. Eisemann is not as well known as Bosch or Varta.
The sign reads: "Battery maintenance service, Eisemann quick charge, proven load"
I'll have this sign and a bunch of others at OCTO.

At least I am not showing off my plastic spoon collection.
But seriously, I know that there has got to be someone out there with old battery stuff.
As for the VW of America battery, I have seen them for sale in the classifieds from time to time. |
