Actually I cut down the big oval air cleaner tops they sell. Sump plate would have worked too!

Carpet is in and the front suspension is back together. I have to lift the back of the car enough to slide the motor underneath but that won't be for a couple weeks.

I have a customer with an AVE T and he doesn't know if he is going to finish it or sell it as a project. This is a great thread describing the history and what it looks like!

Update! My customer decided to sell and not finish it. He is down to only $1000.00!

Just listed it in the classifieds. I have had fun re-building it but now building a GSXR1000 powered 1969 Suzuki Carry pickup and need the room!

Just curious..... How do you access the engine for maintenance? Behind the seat? I don't see any seams in the body for opening panels. Cool

The seat back center portion removes for access.
