It's been covered in detail before. So someone is apt to suggest you do a Samba search. Maybe someone will do a search for you and then post a link.

In the mean time i have started redoing the louvered windows. I have taken one apart so far and have polished it up and replaced most of the seals. Has anybody seen the post on how to restore louvered windows? I am very curious about the seal that goes on the glass. My old seal on glass look pretty good and when i went to remove the framing it was real hard to pull off. I wondering if i should just leave this seal alone as i have replaced all the others on the window. Or does anyone have a instructional video on the Wolfsburg West louvered window seals.

This looks alot like the same exact question you posed in your other thread.

Which thread would you like people to respond to? Rolling Eyes

Well I tried searching for one to help aid the project going correctly. I asked for help and got half and half response. Seems like most people herenlike to point out peoples flaws or short comings rather than help. I only ask questions to learn. By asking qustions on this site in more than one of your threads also some how gets you in hot water. This I see from both sides. My main problem is whats the big deal, relax. information is power. And like advertising to get the fish it helps to have multiple hooks. and If you dont have the answer move on, no need to make a case out of it or chime in with negativity. well i will stop rambling and get to business. As i said above i had trouble finding proper instruction on a Jalousie window restoration and will now attempt to do an insturction window on it. Please bear with me as this is my very first time videoing and restoring a VW window. ANy helpful comments are appreciated. All filming is done with my Iphone.

thanks for that. I found that besides Wolfsburg West being the only full complete kit out there it is rather easy job yet very labor intensive overall. The Kit quality is good. Color seems to be similar to OG. I made a few rockie mistakes on my first one and im sure this one will teach me a thing or to as well.

Hey Curtis, thanks for posting. I am a huge fan of tutorials and those who take the time to create them for the benefit of others. Right now you are going through the Samba growing pains, and you too will come to understand the wisdom of some of the comments made regarding multiple posts. It really is beneficial to have things contained in 1 or 2 posts, as this allows people to do some back reading and get the full picture as to what you are dealing with and trying to accomplish. Before long, you will be another regular here.

I try to keep it positive, but we all have personalities and sometimes its hard not to let them show through. For me, bad spelling and grammar is a pet peeve, and sometimes I comment on it; especially the monkeys who say "I would of" instead of "I would have". So, I'm guilty too, but at the end of the day, we all share a common interest here, and that is important to keep in mind.

Anyway, many of us are watching with interest as your restore your bus; use this as an opportunity to learn from the experience here, and learn about the formal and informal etiquette of the Samba. Most importantly, keep us posted. Thanks for the tutorial.

As a side note, I would recommend that you copy your tutorial to a new thread and call it Jalousie Seal Tutorial. This way you can get some feedback on it, but anyone who does a search for jalousie will find it right away.
