whats better airbags or hydraulics for lowering. i need to be able to clear a dip in my driveway but i want it lowered for crusing. |

it depends, If you going to run hydraulics, then you need to use accumalators so the ride isn't as bad. If you are in a cold climate then the seals in the cylinders go bad and the guides break. If you use airbags, then you can buy all of the parts and brackets already prefabbed through KCW. Even though hydraulics are Olde School, I would run hydraulics any day of the week! |

Get the airbags,because with hydraulics you need a ton of batteries.Do you really need all that clutter in a small space. |

you dont need any more than 2 batteries (24 volts) for hydraulics
you dont need accumulators for a good ride
if all you want to do is go up and down slowly to clear driveways and speed bumps then either will work just fine, take your pick

anybody running bags with really high horse power? I have a project comming up and the curent plan is using a 300hp subie motor and I still want a lowered stance but like the idea of adjustability of bags.
