is there any way to apply these decals on your fiberglass top without getting those microbubbles? i can see the 'translucent' decal part around the letters really easily.

Having just installed these myself two days ago, I have one question. By translucent part, are you referring to the cover layer that should be removed after sticking the letters on the van? |

Take your time as the decals want to stick to it. I used a soft rag to apply pressure to the decal after removing the protective layer. |

Here is a picture of my 90 Syncro Westfalia to show you where, in relation to the bolt, the front emblem gets placed.

If you have concern of messing the decal up take it to your local sign shop and have them install it. They shouldn't charge more than 5-10 bucks unless you bring in your bus really dirty. Don't worry about the bubbles, they will fall out in the sun. If you were here in NC I would do it for free. |

I might go out and buy a Synchro sticker just the looks of it. Those are bad ass. |

I had decals applied to my work vehicle recently and watched.
They did it something like this - http://www.autobodyart.com/howtoapply.htm
Also they used a heat gun and a plastic scraper/fingers to remove the old decals very quickly |
