Seems no one has touched it. Post up more pictures of the interior and such after you get more.

I am hoping the photo is distorted and the bus not actually sagging like that.

Without telling us the actual location, can you give us a region? IF that bus is in the dry western states, it may be OK. If it is not, it may very well be sagging like the photo shows.

The photo is distorted, it was taken in panorama mode. Still could be in bad shape tho. heres a few more pics. You can't really tell anything from the pics. I'll get it home and get it cleaned out and know a little more. I'm located in southern Illinois.

That's why I took the chance on it. I've never actually seen one in person but thought they looked really neat. I figured it would be better in my shed than in the elements. If it's a flop oh well lol

No sag. Door gaps are straight. Be carful pulling it out if the frame is bad. You don't want to bend the body. The frame could easily still be good though.

Soft top is gone. I'd expect the floor is toast. Sad
Very nice find, and everything can be fixed, but it is all about the labor that must be put in. Parts, sheet metal are easy, but be serious about your dedication and ability to do it. Be open to selling it. You could make some good $.

I would put it in my garage and stare at it daily in that condition Laughing

I love looking at field/ barn/ garage finds. Every single one is so interesting in so many different ways, they all tell a story.

This is a 67 21w I found back in January but it seems the 21/23w finds have been few and far between otherwise.

There are pleanty of Buses out there in the "Wilds" , you just need the owner to realize he is NOT GOING TO RESTORE IT ONE DAY...... Rolling Eyes

This Bus, ^^^^^^ a '55, has been sitting at least 12- 15 years, on a 2 lane state highway, on the road to a large tourist destination in Vermont, this dude will not give it up, I've gotten to know him well enough, he does not have the skills to work on it, and no where near the $$$$ it will take, but still he hangs on... I'm waiting him out, like the other various people that have a So-42 Westy, a 21 Window, a '64 Singlecab & a '62 DD Panel, what sucks is how bad they are now, and they do not improve w/ age... Evil or Very Mad

^^^ I have, for some reason, been trying to buy a 59 panel camper from the family of the deceased owner. He has been gone many years, but they just let it sit in the woods getting worse. I spoke (again) with the daughter last month and they now have plans to "restore" it. I bet if I drive up to the property next spring it will still be sitting there, with the caved in roof caving in farther under the weight of winter's best.

Most of what I knew about around here has been snatched up by folks just in it for the money. What's left is not really worth bothering to pull home.

Seems a common theme that they will restore it some day. Wonder what is the key to getting people to let their future project go? Other than right place, right time of course.

Awesome find though Ryan, any update or more pictures? Look like they are both solid finds.
