I love the fade on this one - reminds me of my '59 SC the day we picked it up years ago, albeit yours is in way better condition as found than mine was. I assume yours was originally L345 Light Grey too, right?

Since it's in vogue to give titles to buses, we could refer to this one as the "Abortion bus."

"keep your rosaries off my ovaries" Belt line talk for real.... Abortion bus it is.... LOL

Dont know anything about splits. Ive always had bays. Weve been looking for chassis numbers. What an adventure!

I'm going to guess 1960 but the easiest thing is to look behind the passenger front seat at the M-code plate

We have been looking and most of these buses are missing their plates and we also cant find the chassis numbers stamped over the right side near the bell housing. This plate doesnt have the “19” embosed for the year.

If I read this plate right and using the link from everett, would this panel van be an April 1963?

Very close. It's May, 1963 - the numbers are the LAST numbers for the month so it's right at the start of May since it's right after the end of April

My painter buddy Justin has a custom car shop and they were on the property near his shop, none of us ever seen any cars back there since it was all over grown and covered like a canopy of trees and bushes. So the old timer just sold the land so he came over asking Justin if he was interested in buying these old cars that were down in there.
The tags are from 1974. Everything just grew around them. They drug it out with that huge old roll off truck.
