Where are the pinstripes on the PGSG? With such strong paint, seems they should be there. Canadian market? I have a PGSG here, from Canada that had/has stripes..

Good eye Long-roofs. The upper stripe is there but very worn away and faint, if you look closely at the drivers side just above the engine vents you can make out a section of the sand green stripe. The lower stripe seems to be missing or possibly worn right away. Maybe the quality and durability of the stripes varied through the years or maybe it was removed all together at some point? This is my fourth Canadian PGSG bus and I’m pretty sure they all had dual pin stripes. In fact I had another 56 that was 4000 VINs after this one and it had pin stripes but the bumper colors were reversed.🤔

'64 is correct. Good eye! It's a rusty heap like most of them in the north east. It was parked "out back" in 1976. Too rusty for me but I couldn't see leaving it to rot another 40 years. |

Love seeing OG paint markings in the bucket, even if that color is on its final leg...cool. Lichtgrau is an awesome color too.
