I first saw this 23 Window roof top back in 1973 the owner said he was using it as a dog house. It turned out he was going to cut the roof off of another Bus and replace it with the 23 Window roof. From year to year I would go back and ask about it, but no sale. Now after 46 years I own it and the other Bus too.

Yes your right the trailer is a low one. I've had it since 1966 my Dad won it at a car show. It's been to California at lease 9 times and all over the States.
Here's the trailer on my way to California back in 1978 with a Fiberfab Migi that we used to build.

Last year the 7th largest fire in California history was started by sparks thrown from a trailer.

You can tell from one photo that the trailer is somehow lethal? _________________ nothing |

It was sparks from a rim after a tire blew. Just happened to be on a trailer. Could have just as easily been one of the tires on a vehicle. _________________ nothing |

Two inches off the ground, single axle presumably with no brakes, no side marker lights, no fenders, appears to have the axle mounted OVER the deck somehow or torsion axles? Does it really need explaining? Id get pulled over quick for dragging that mess around here and they are pretty lenient about what goes down the road but hey if you want to endanger others go right ahead. |

Depending on the weight rating it may not require trailer brakes. Fenders would be good to have, but not sure if they are required by law in MN. Same goes with side marker lights.
The old photo shows the trailer with much more ground clearance. I wonder if this trailer has a kneeling axle for easier load/unload? Sort of like the nice big ice fishing houses all over MN lakes in January.
Not exactly the same, but there are several different mechanisms designed to do this.

Rescued this 67. Had been after it for a while and sealed the deal over the winter. Finally went to dig it out this weekend
