Thank you, it was a lot of fun! That axle is an old trailer axle that I cut down and welded some thing spindles to. Worked out pretty well [/quote] |

How did you mount it to the bus? I know it's just to get it rolling, but you must have bolted to the trans frame horns or something. _________________ nothing |

Looks like it’s bolted to the springplates. _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

I welded some angle on both sides of the axle and drilled holes to bolt through the spring plates. Luckily the whole torsion wasn’t cut from it and they were still there. I’ll have to figure out how to go about repairing the frame horns since they have been cut off |

It's a 60, and those parts are what i think are bastard only ,besides the radio lol. The funny thing though the m tag says it was made 1/13/60 and nothing about the walk through just 372,175,133 and the usual uc 231 blue. And then the serial number. _________________ Vw collection 60 combi ,61 panel ,62 deluxe micro,82 diesel Westfalia,88 Vanagon synchro,98 Jetta tdi,11 Jetta tdi mt ,11 Jetta tdi dsg.

I have seen another walkthrough which did not have the M-code for walkthrough. It was about the same age as this one. I doublechecked everything on the bus, and it was the real deal. _________________ .

Super rusty but at least it had all the seat frames. I thought about that one myself, but then smartened up. |

Badass. I always look at it as the worst someone could say is “no.” Well, there are other, more eloquent ways, but it doesn’t hurt to try!! What year single cab? _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz
