That's too bad, I bought one of yours many years ago and use it every single time we camp. In fact, it's the only way we use a Westy table other than display at shows.
I was hoping to get a second one for another bus.

My manufacturer doesn't have much interest in running off any more. He's retired these days.

Maybe someone who has one could draw plans (or have some drawn) of theirs and post some detailed pics, of both the plans and the support, that are hosted by the samba? All the pics from the OP first post seem to gone(?). That would give the rest of us a chance to make our own or find a local welder that could do it for us. Yes, no, maybe? Be nice not to have to reinvent the wheel so to speak

| That design was about as simple as they come. I am going to build the one that attaches to the scissor jack. Much better design that takes up no space. |

This is a market waiting for an entrepreneur. Eric has decided he's done, and he did not have a patent on it or anything, anyway. Someone with some fabrication skills could pick up the task and have a few dozen instant customers!

That's a great idea for use of a part already onboard! For those that still have them.
I love mine too! It does get a lot of attention when installed!

I would also be interested in this table.
I'll offer that if someone has one and can provide dimensions, etc., I can CAD it out and distribute drawings to people who want to get one fabricated.

If Eric doesn't mind, someone ought to produce these again. While they are quite simple, the work to procure materials and labor for a one-off could be leveraged into several and get some ROI. (And that's not me, my welding sucks!)

ok then, what was the angle of the bend on the 1 inch square stock, where did you order the knobs, and who wants to buy one? I think there needs to be more than a handful to make this worth my time. My welder wants to get in on this if there is sufficient interest. |
