Something is wrong with my electric window on the driver's side and i'm wondering if I should leave the jury rigged crank setup or go have a new motor assembly put in? The passenger side electric window works fine, albeit slowly. Any advice?

Well, the electric window just plain doesn't work, no motion, no sound, nothing. The rigged up crank window used to work until yesterday the window seemed to fall off track or something and now it is stock in the down position (of course, all of this happened during a big rain storm yesterday). So I am thinking of having Van-Cafe take a look at it tomorrow.

I just went through that with mine and it was a broken wire inside the rubber boot, ran a new wire and all was good. Hope yours turns out to be that easy. Smile
