New movie. 2021, The Many Streets of Newark. Split bus drives by during a shoot out, gets hit, crashes into a parked car and burns.

Notice the rear window, it is a 64-67 made to look like a 63 or earlier.

It would make a great place to tie loads down with too.

Over the past few weeks I watched all episodes of Danger Man (Secret Agent) and The Prisoner. There are many buses and bugs in several episodes. This one is from The Prisoner, episode “ Do Not Forsake Me”.

So far, I haven't found any mention regarding this one:

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

It shows a 1958 Palm Green/Sand Green Microbus featuring "trucker mirrors" and its already a bit ragged (rear bumper gone missing as well as at least, driver side front hubcap).
This is from the 1969 movie 'One on Top of the Other' that was filmed, among other places, in west coast San Francisco, and as it was the norm in the late 60's and early 70's, VWs and Porsches abound.
It can be spotted the Porsche 911 and 356 cabriolet, a Squareback, a Bay Window Westfalia among the more common Beetle sedans and in one ocasion, looks like a Beetle cabriolet too.

YouTube German TV documentary "Geschichte_Entdeckung: Als der Suedwesten fahren lernte 2016" (history and discovery: As the SouthWest learned to drive)-
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

"BH" on the license plate stands for the city of Buehl, located west of Stuttgart and just south of the resort/spa town of Baden-Baden. The same letters are also slang for brassier, standing for "Buestenhalter" (bust holder). Embarassed Sound like BAY-hah. So if it was a woman driver and traffic ends so that the bus accelerates, you could say BH is taking off. Rolling Eyes

Not an old movie but old footage…there is on Amazon this month one of those Woodstock documentaries “Woodstock Three Days that Defined a Generation”. PBS American Experience. I was ready to capture a bunch but only saw three places to do so. One was a double cab witha paint job I would love to duplicate. The general vintage car experience was great though.

I did search for a Woodstock dedicated thread or a hippie bus thread here. There were a few Woodstock searches/builds and a few hippy threads but neither her seemed ok for these photos
