I traded my junker baja for this Fastback on a whim. The guy kept bugging me about it until I finally caved. I'm new to the type3 scene, but this car has some appeal (and potential). It most certainly needs some TLC, but the car is in really good shape - very little rust.

Every little stock part is here including some sort of heater? I'm a little scared to fire up anything that has a vent from the gas tank Shocked (comments please)

I plan on keeping everyone posted on my progress as I <ahem> "vwrx" this little thing.

I'd its as safe as the gas burning engine in the back. But hey, if you're worried about it I'll take it off your hands Smile

Yours might be a problem with it mounted on the right side of the car. The exhaust from it is coming out right next to the fuel filler and vent line.

I will post a few more later today. Dumb question but how do you post the actual picture and not just the link?

This is the first step to the master plan of getting a notchback. Muah hah hah hah. Razz

Actually, most boardops prefer links-- that way the bandwidth to load the photo every time a thread is viewed (and reviewed and reviewed...) is saved.
