hey guys whats up, i just wanted to ask some questions about notch's. i am a bug guy, but i have always liked notchs and was just wondering the best way to lower the front of a notch. i know that KCW puts the type 1 beams in the notchs and was just wondering what you guys do. i also want to put porsche fuchs with disc brakes, what disc brake kit would you guys recomend. thanks for the help guys and hope to spend some more time on this side of the forums. _________________ "Once a split window kid, always a split window kid" |

firstly, this is one of the most covered topics on a Type 3 - so popular, in fact, how to lower your Type 3 is in the FAQ (see at the top of the thread list)...
secondly, if you follow the instructions on how to lower your Type 3, you will notice that you don't need to hack a Type 1 beam onto your car, as it is equipped with an adjustable beam...
third, and last on my little list here, several vendors, including Airkewld sell brake kits for Type 3's so you can mount Fuchs or anything else on your car...

you can use the stock T3 discs and drill them for Porsche 5. that is how i did my notch. |
