finally replaced my tailight assemblies and, yeah!, got my brake/reverse/tail lights and signals back. but the last couple of days, i'll go to signal for a turn and the light on the dash will go solid and something will kinda buzz at me. it's intermittent and doesn't always buzz, but it's annoying, especially when you're making a dicey lane change in heavy traffic and you need that semi to know you're coming.

is this the relay going out?

thanks,
alex

My 73 did that right after I bought it. It was the relay.

Relays buzz when they are under driven (low voltage). If that's not the case then it's gone bad.

A classic cause of the buzz is a fuse making poor contact.
