Were there any factory or dealer installed stripe kits for Vanagons? The reason I asked is that my van had these exact stripes on it when I got it. I pulled them off, but I am curious if the brown/black combo below the horizontal body crease could have been OEM. My van came from the same area of the country as this one so maybe a local dealer thought they looked cool and installed them.

| my buddy used to be a pin striper. Most of the cars come in plain jane and the dealers do this to spruce up the vehicles. No kit is necessary if you want this done to your van, just look in the yellow pages for a pin striper or call any dealer to help you locate one. |
